White Lotus Home - Saving the Earth While We Sleep

Dear Investor!

It’s an honor to meet you and discuss the possible interest in growing White Lotus Home together. In the next few minutes, I will share reasons why I feel White Lotus Home is the way of the future and how it could become a product that everyone is going to WANT, some are going to NEED and many are going to EXPERIENCE. I will also elaborate on why YOU, why the Pando family, and why White Lotus Home!

After close to 4 decades of entrepreneurship, I am totally open to trying new ideas that will help bring White Lotus Home to the masses sooner than later. You are welcome to be a silent investor, but an active investor would also be welcomed, someone that dives into the heart of our business, helps maximize resources, and empowers entrepreneurship.

So, what is White Lotus Home?

White Lotus Home is more than a business; it’s a movement to “Save the Earth While We Sleep.” We craft natural and organic bedding by hand, right here in the USA, using primarily locally sourced natural and organic fibers.

• We support sustainability: Our biodegradable products naturally decompose, completing the cycle of life.
• We are all about handcrafted excellence: Each product reflects the care and skill of our artisans, embracing the “perfect imperfection” that machines cannot replicate.
• We Have a Great Impact on Local Communities: We support U.S. farmers, workers, and local economies.

Who is Marlon Pando
I was born in Sullana, Peru, where sustainability is not just an ideal but a way of life.

I was the middle child out of 5 children. 4 boys and one Reina, the best little sister ever. In 1982, my parents and oldest brother Lee came to the United States and worked, so hard, that 12 months later, my dad return to Peru, to bring the rest of us to the United States. Leaving 4 young children behind was not easy and this gave them the strength needed to work 24/7 and make this happen. My sister was only a year old; Giovanni was 4, I was 6 and Cesar was 7.

By the age of 13, I got into working out because my brothers made fun of my weight and with little access to toys and video games, I started reading business books, like who moved my cheese, and gorilla marketing types. After school, I started selling products door-to-door, where I won prizes or could keep some of the fees collected. Living in a home where my 3 brothers and I slept in one bedroom and my parents had a total of 7 mouths to feed, I decided that it was best to earn my own money and to stop expecting more from all that my parents were already doing for us. So, I got a job at my aunt’s necktie factory on the weekends and after school, this is where I learned the value of hard work and the importance of making a PROFIT.

Life wasn’t easy. At 16, my parents separated, and I convinced them to leave me to manage their home in Brooklyn while attending high school. Bills were 6 months overdue, so I created flyers and found housemates to help pay the rent. That hustle allowed me to be the first in my immediate family to graduate high school. By 18, I partnered with my mother to open a necktie factory in Miami, Florida, turning a passion for handmade goods into a business.

Tragedy struck over the years—losing my older brother Cesar to violence and my younger brother Giovanni to a DWI incident—but I persevered and by 26, I earned my MBA while working full-time, driven by a desire to honor my family’s sacrifices and create something meaningful.

In 2006, I discovered White Lotus Home, a struggling natural bedding company. It was a perfect match for my passion for sustainability and handmade goods from my roots in Peru. I took the leap, purchasing the business and turning it into a profitable venture. My mother, Maria Sabaducci Pando was born on Earth Day, April 22nd and after moving to Miami, the necktie business took a dive, and she started working doing maintenance in hotels. We talked every day, and I eventually convinced her to help me at White Lotus Home. So now we had the world's greatest cook and a legend in handcrafted soft goods at White Lotus Home. It was the greatest feeling in the world for me, to spend so much more time next to my mother and to see her thrive on what she was great at. This is where White Lotus Home turned from a struggling fun small business in a niche market, to a way of life! Mom had a great way to make things look easy and took her time with the local Rutgers students, to teach them as well as learn from them and come up with easier ways to handmake it, all at White Lotus Home. She always encouraged me to follow my dreams and before her passing in 2010. Her words still guide me: “do something for you” she would say!

The White Lotus Home Experience!

Imagine a family visiting our NJ showroom after learning about the chemicals in conventional bedding, they personally watch an artisan handcraft a pillow and leave with a freshly handmade organic product they can feel good about—helping the planet while ensuring their family’s safety. Couples also appreciate the idea that they can now have SAFE PILLOWS FIGHTS. Are you into that we can show you how it’s done!

Why do we believe this is the ideal time to partner with White Lotus Home?

We have evolved beyond a niche market, and our Private Label program makes it easier for everyone to participate in the growing organic industry. Our collaboration with T&C and recognition from CNN Business, which sought our insights on the retail home goods sector, highlight the increasing prominence of organic bedding. Organic bedding is no longer a specialty item—it’s becoming a standard choice as more people prioritize organic options for their homes.

Last summer, we met with TJ Max and while they decided to hold on placing an order, they did ask to please keep them informed. We have their pillow and bedding buyer in our email list. A Costco salesman approached me over a year ago. While I understand that the current rates of our products are not within their marketing spectrum, I have done most of the legwork necessary to take our current 4 times multiple to 6 or 8 and that should open more lines of distribution and helps us meet our 5-10 million projections.

Whenever our members see Lily, Elizabeth or I get dirty with them, they try even harder to make sure nothing falls behind. Our team understands that the better White Lotus Home does, the better life each member could experience.

I’ve poured my heart into White Lotus Home—rooted in the values of family, resilience, and sustainability. Together, I believe we can achieve unicorn growth and make a meaningful impact on the planet and its people.

Let’s partner to “Save the Earth While We Sleep.”
