The Cotton and Wool Toddler Mattress: We also call it the Dreamton. You can buy a Dreamton Style Toddler Mattress to avoid the borate or the need for a doctor's prescription. Our dreamton mattresses have wool as the outer most layer. The wool acts as a natural fire retardant and you do not need a doctor's prescription to order one. This mattress is semi-firm.

The Pure Cotton and Wool Toddler Mattress: This mattress is just like the Cotton and Wool described above but the main difference, is that the cotton is USDA Certified Organic and the outer fabric is also 100% Organic Cotton.

All of these toddler mattresses fit in a crib frame and offers a safer nights sleep.

The USDA Certified Pure Cotton Toddler Mattress: This handmade in the USA all cotton toddler mattress is a great alternative to traditional toddler mattresses. As you may know, traditional mattress manufacturers use many harmful chemicals in their mattresses. This toddler mattress is made of 100% Organically grown cotton and it includes a sturdy 100% organic cotton case. This toddler mattress also comes without borate and we require a doctors note or prescription in order to handcraft this mattress for you.

Toddler Mattress Dimension: 28x54x3.5

While standard crib mattresses normally measure 27x52 inches or 27.5x52 inches, all White Lotus Home Organic Cotton Crib mattresses measure 28x54x3 inches. The reasons ours are handmade to be a little bigger is that we use only natural fibers that compress really well. In order to make sure children sleep on the safest mattress possible, making sure the crib mattress fits nice and snuggly is the best way to go. We have been handcrafting them this way since 1981.

Toddler mattresses are recommended for children 12 months and older, as the surface is far softer than a crib mattress. Both styles generally measure the same length and width to fit snuggly within crib frames, convertible frames, and toddler beds. As your child grows, you also have the option to add a Mattress Topper for a layer of cushion and softness above the density of the crib mattress.
