Alternatively, you can choose our DREAMTON style futon, which is wrapped in a layer of pure wool that acts as a natural flame retardant.

After purchasing this futon, please fax, mail, or email a copy of a prescription from your medical doctor. We cannot ship your futon until we receive the prescription. The note must state something to the effect of: "My patient requires a chemical-free futon."

The futon is comprised of:
A cotton core made up of Green Cotton layers.
It contains about 15% more cotton and twice as many tufts than our standard Green Cotton futon.
Made of 100% Green Cotton.
This futon is the firmest model we offer, featuring a flat, firm surface that provides strong support. The Boulder Cotton is handmade in the same style as the firm mattresses that have been crafted for centuries in India and Japan.
It is particularly popular with our European customers, as it is made in styles similar to those that have been used for centuries in those countries.

We recommend placing it on a box spring set, a platform bed, or a bi-fold or tri-fold futon frame, or even using it as a floor bed. A slatted bed frame is advisable for proper air circulation, with slats being at least 2.5 inches wide and no more than 2 inches apart. If the slats are more than 2 inches apart, it may affect the longevity and comfort of your futon mattress.

Standard Futon Sizes & Weights

Lower weights generally reflect a Latex Core or Evergreen Foam Core futons, while higher weights are more typical of a Boulder Style (extra firm) futons. As all White Lotus Home products are unique, all dimensions and weights are approximate. A variation of up to 1" in all directions is appropriate.
